MEET HEATHER
I'm a writer, author, and teacher passionate about the literary arts and the mystic arts

Wordsmithing is a messy business. Whether crafting a blog post about software or a scene in a narrative, it involves a blank page and a pile of ideas that require focus, patience, and inspiration to assemble into a coherent whole.
Creativity is easiest when you're a child with an unfettered imagination. University instruction shackled mine, but the creative spirit cannot be stifled forever. Twenty years later, I found my voice, and I have a lot to say.
Author Thomas Mann said a writer is someone for whom writing is more difficult than it is for anyone else. While at times that feels true, writing is what I was born to do.

ABOUT ME
I've spent several years learning to connect with my intuition, the superconscious mind, and loved ones on the other side. This has given me a direct experience of higher consciousness and the nature of reality. We live in a benevolent universe filled with power and potential. My spiritual path is to live out this truth in every area of life.
When I awakened, my worldview expanded. I broke free from emotional dysfunctions. My relationships became more authentic and my writing more inspired. Now that I live as the predominant creative force in my life, abundance flows and intentions materialize.
This is the essence of magic.

Two of my ancestors were committed to a notorious asylum in New Jersey about 20 years apart. My calling is to give them a voice and lift them from obscurity. Inspired by actual events, this work-in-progress is a family saga about the oppression of strong women, the interpersonal connections that sustain them, and the limits of their resilience.
WANT A SNEAK PEEK?
My primary focus is my novel, Troublesome Women. I hope to complete the first draft by November 2025. I also have two workshops in development, The Heroine's Journey: How to Make Meaning of Your Life Experiences and You Are the Muse: A Guide to Intuitive Writing.
