Heather Ebert, writer
Frederick Buechner said one’s vocation is found in “the place where your deep gladness and the world’s deep hunger meet.”
I find my own deep gladness in that kind of writerly incarnation of another’s heart and mind to express their essence on their behalf. Whether that takes the form of a short bio, an About web page, or a full-length book, it’s where my writing skills and talents meet another’s need to be heard. In that place, we both thrive.
wordsmith • storyteller • content creator • message crafter • copy polisher
My primary focus is ghostwriting or co-authoring book manuscripts. I also help organizations and publications communicate clearly and directly to engage their audiences.
Do you need:
- A collaborative author or ghostwriter to write your latest book, memoir, or other long-form content?
- A writer to craft compelling articles, website copy, or interesting content for blogs and social media?
- An editor to punch up copy, tighten verbose sentences, and translate corporate speak into clear, engaging English?
“Heather Ebert is one of the most creative and gifted writers I have worked with in my 40 years as a publisher. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with her on our client’s memoir.”
— David Dunham, Publisher, Dunham Books
“Heather is an intelligent, courageous, thoughtful and determined writer. She carries that while also managing to be a delightful person, which makes her a joy to work with.”
